The handmade bags of the Hydro Line are made of hydrophobic leather, i.e. leather which has been given water-repellent properties by us through a special process. Thus, rain rolls off the bag with a beautiful lotus effect. The leather is velvety soft with an incredible grippy feel. Over the years, the hydrophobic leather gets its own patina and becomes your very personal companion. Since the leather continues to retain its natural breathability and structure despite hydrophobing, it may lead to slight color release under certain circumstances if the bag is exposed to high humidity, for example. This is in no way to be understood as a defect but distinguishes the hydrophobized leather as high quality and natural.
