Questions About Our Collaborations

What sets our collaborations apart?

Every collaboration begins with a partner whose work we value—photographers, designers, and brands. The result combines the craftsmanship of our workshop with the distinctive style and practical expertise of someone who knows exactly what matters. This gives rise to pieces that would not exist in this form on their own.

Are the collaborative products manufactured to Oberwerth's usual high standards?

Without exception. Our collaboration pieces are also crafted by hand in our workshop, using the same carefully selected leathers and with the same attention to detail for every stitch. An additional name on the product doesn’t change the standard behind it—it simply adds to it.

What warranty do I get on my partner products?

In addition to the statutory warranty, we offer a voluntary, lifetime warranty on our bags. To qualify, you must register your product within eight weeks of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship; if a warranty claim is made, we will repair or replace the item free of charge at our discretion. Normal wear and tear and the natural changes in the leather are not covered—since leather is a natural product that develops its own character over the years. The statutory warranty applies to straps and accessories.

Are the collaborations available on a permanent basis?

That depends on the specific collaboration—some are long-term partnerships, while others are limited-edition releases. You can always find the latest information on the respective product page. If you don’t want to miss out on any new collaborations, we recommend signing up for our newsletter.
