Incredibly roomy and stunningly soft - Introducing: RICHARD 2.

RICHARD is the largest bag in our CASUAL line and perfectly designed for extensive equipment. Whether it's Leica SL equipment including a Vario-Elmarit 90-280mm telephoto lens or a DSLR system, the padded interior safely protects 1-2 camera bodies, a telephoto lens and up to four interchangeable lenses from bumps, shocks and other external influences. With its generously designed interior, RICHARD offers its wearer flexibility without having to sacrifice important equipment. Compromises are a thing of the past. In addition to the spacious camera compartment, RICHARD can be used to accommodate a 15" laptop or 16" MacBook Pro in a separate and padded laptop compartment.

In order to optimally adapt the available volume to personal requirements, the interior pads can be freely adjusted, and the interior layout can be customized. Additional compartments on the front of the bag, zippered pockets on the inside of the front and a padded zippered compartment on the back of the bag offer further options for storing small camera equipment or personal items. With a tether attached to the back of the bag, RICHARD can be easily and conveniently attached to a rolling suitcase or trolley for travel and appointments.

The full-grain leather RICHARD bag is handcrafted from 100% full-grain, tumbled cowhide and features a harmonious blend of style and functionality. The repeated process of fulling gives the leather a velvety, fine-grain surface texture that shines both haptically and visually. The delicate leather is malleable and ergonomically adapts to the body shape when worn. The length-adjustable shoulder strap made of finely stitched cotton is completed by a padded leather shoulder pad. This ensures optimal distribution of the bag's weight even when it is packed, and guarantees that it rests gently on the shoulder.

Shoulder pad details

Just like the bags of the Casual Line, the extra shoulder pad for your Oberwerth bag is handmade of rolled, full-grain cowhide and the underside is covered with non-slip sponge rubber. So the pad will not slip off your shoulder even if you carry it for a long time.

The shoulder pad convinces with its perfect padding of the shoulder area and the high quality workmanship - the perfect complement to your Casual Line bag.
The shoulder pad is attached by 2 press-studs on the top. This way, the pad sits firmly on the strap and can still be moved to the desired position.

Thanks to the flat shape, you can also transport the pad inside your bag and attach it in seconds if needed. No more shoulder pain from heavy equipment - thanks to the Extra Shoulder Pad from Oberwerth.

Handle details

Like the CASUAL LINE bags, the handle is made of 100% velvety soft cowhide. The handle is available in black and dark brown to match the color of your bag. By means of snap hooks, the handle can be securely attached to the corresponding eyelets. The velvety soft cowhide flatters the palm of the hand, making the bags comfortable to carry even when loaded.

The handles can be used universally for both WILLIAM and RICHARD. They have a length of 49 cm and a weight of only 65g.
