Two cameras, two bags
Anyone who wants to travel with two cameras faces a choice: either leave one at home, or end up with a bag that’s big and heavy. David Knoble wasn’t willing to settle for that. He was looking for a bag that could hold both a digital and an analog camera, with accessories within easy reach and without being unnecessarily bulky. And because a day in the city has different requirements than a trip, one bag became two: the David Bag Daily and the David Bag Overland, available individually or as a bundle.
Daily for everyday use, Overland for travel, or both together in a bundle
The David Bags

Daily and Overland
One for every day, one for the trip
The Daily is the perfect bag for everyday use. It lies flat against your body, is lightweight to carry, and still holds two Leica M cameras - one digital, one analog. The side pockets with magnetic closures keep your light meter, filters, and film within easy reach, and the 11-inch iPad Pro has its own dedicated compartment. This keeps your day light, even with all your gear. The Overland is its big sister and packs the entire system when you’re heading further afield.
Two front pockets of different sizes separate the small from the large: the narrow one for your cell phone, the large one for filters and accessories. The 13-inch iPad Pro has its own compartment, and at the airport, the bag rides along on your suitcase thanks to the trolley attachment. Whether you’re traveling by car or off-road, the Overland stays with you.

The Bundle
Daily and Overland as a Bundle
If you want both bags, you can get them as a bundle. Head into town in the morning with two Leica M cameras, or head out into the countryside on the weekend with your entire system - without having to repack every time. Both bags feature the same leather, the same design philosophy, and the same layout, so everything is right where you expect it to be. Two bags, one system, and the right size for every situation.

What Was Important to David
A camera bag shouldn’t draw attention - it should just work. That’s why both David Bags aren’t bulky; they stay slim and close to the body, even with two cameras inside. Items you need quickly on the go are stored on the front panels:
light meters, filters, film, and even a lens are stored in side pockets with magnetic closures—a single grab is all it takes, and you can keep your eyes on the subject. In the main compartment, the cameras rest softly cushioned between adjustable dividers. The red lining ensures that you can immediately see what’s where, even in low light. If a shower rolls in, the newly developed flap covers the entire opening and locks into place with two LOXX® fasteners. Your passport and cash stay behind a waterproof zipper on the back, close to your body and protected from prying hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Daily is designed to hold two Leica M cameras - for example, one digital and one analog - each with a lens attached. The Overland accommodates a larger camera system: multiple camera bodies, additional lenses, and accessories. Thanks to the adjustable dividers, the main compartment of both bags can be freely configured, even for other camera systems.
The Daily (30 × 22 × 15.5 cm) is a sleek bag for everyday use that lies flat against the body. The Overland (39 × 28 × 18 cm) is the larger travel bag with more space in the main compartment and two front pockets of different sizes. Both share the same basic design: room for two cameras, accessories within one-handed reach, and the newly developed flap with two LOXX® closures.
Yes. Both bags have a dedicated compartment for the iPad Pro: 11 inches in the Daily, 13 inches in the Overland. A laptop of a similar size will also fit.
The flap covers the entire opening and reliably protects the contents from rain showers. The rear exterior pocket for your passport and cash has a waterproof zipper. Full-grain leather is naturally resistant to moisture, but the bag should still not be left unprotected during prolonged rain.
Both bags are made of black full-grain leather, the highest-quality leather with the grain layer fully intact. To care for the leather, simply use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, apply a thin layer of colorless leather conditioner. The full-grain leather retains its soft, warm feel for years.
Yes. Like all Oberwerth bags, the David Bag Daily and the David Bag Overland come with a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship. To activate the warranty, simply register your bag within eight weeks of purchase. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Built to last.

Full-grain leather
David Bags are crafted from full-grain, thick leather with a light pigment finish. The natural full-grain texture and the nearly untreated surface give the leather its exceptionally soft and warm feel, along with a sporty character that suits bags used every day on the go.

About David Knoble
The Man Behind the Bags
David Knoble is a landscape photographer, author, and former president of the Leica Society International. He has been shooting with Leica for decades - both film and digital - and has tried out more bags than he’d care to admit. None of them suited his way of working. So he set out to design his own. Over the course of eighteen months and seven prototypes, the David Bag Daily and the David Bag Overland took shape until every detail was just right.
Today, these two bags are his constant companions, both in everyday life and while traveling. Starting now, they can be yours, too.
