Hardware & Fittings

Some days call for two cameras and light luggage, others for half your equipment. With the Daily and the Overland you have the right answer to both. The pair is the result of an eighteen-month collaboration with landscape photographer David Knoble, past president of Leica Society International, during which both bags were matched to each other down to the last detail.

The Daily is the slim bag for everyday use: it barely adds bulk, yet has room for two Leica M bodies or a Leica M alongside a Leica Q or D-Lux, whether you shoot film or digital. The Overland is its big sister for photo trips and workshops. It takes a larger camera system, several lenses, and what you need for a few days, with a slim front pocket for your phone and a large one for filters and accessories.

What they share is what counts on the move: side pockets that open with one hand, a zippered pocket at the back that keeps valuables safe from rain and prying hands, a strap for your trolley, and a flap that reaches well over the main compartment. You can switch from one to the other without having to rethink a thing.

Full-grain leather

The fine full-grain leather combines full-grain, milled leather with a light pigmentation that preserves its natural beauty. It comes from a tannery that is certified to the highest standard of the Leather Working Group (LWG) with Gold status - a sign of sustainable production, responsible use of resources and the highest quality standards. The high-quality processing with the best colorants and fatliquors ensures a soft, warm surface and a soft feel that underlines the exclusivity of the material. Thanks to the almost natural structure, the unique character of the leather is retained. Only first-class, selected hides are used for this leather, which not only guarantee longevity, but also lend a sophisticated look for a stylish and sporty-elegant appearance.

Oberwerth fittings

Our fine fittings combine the highest quality and timeless elegance, manufactured exclusively by premium suppliers. A special coating protects them from external influences and ensures lasting durability, even with daily use and adverse weather conditions. Thanks to this combination of robustness and aesthetics, the fittings fit seamlessly into the design of our bags and underline the interplay of function and style that makes our products long-lasting companions - an expression of our claim to perfection and quality craftsmanship.
